Discover one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts and meet local makers at Faringdon’s free-entry Art & Craft Fair on Saturday 28 November 2026, alongside an afternoon of festive activities in Market Square.
Faringdon’s welcoming Art & Craft Fair returns to the historic Corn Exchange on Saturday 28 November 2026, bringing together talented local artists and craftspeople showcasing handmade gifts, decorations, stocking fillers and distinctive works of art.
With Christmas approaching, the fair offers a chance to find something truly individual while supporting local makers and discovering the stories behind their creations.
Anne Mills, who makes beautiful bellows, said: “There’s something lovely about giving a hand-crafted present. Each piece has been made with care, chosen with a particular person in mind and often comes with its own story. And with makers on hand, visitors can discover what inspired their work, too.”
Visitors can browse an imaginative range of gifts made from all kinds of materials, with exhibitors on hand to explain the inspiration behind their work and perhaps share an interesting or amusing story.
If you have a particular gift in mind but can’t find quite what you’re looking for, why not ask one of the artisans whether they could create something bespoke? As local makers, they are happy to exchange ideas and explore new possibilities.
Whether you’re searching for something curious, colourful, beautiful or simply a little different, there should be plenty to inspire you.
The free-entry fair runs from 1pm to 5pm, making it an ideal stop during a festive afternoon in town. Faringdon’s Christmas lights will be switched on at 5pm, with other seasonal activities taking place in and around Market Square throughout the afternoon.
