Head to Cooper’s Hill House for this year’s exhibition on September 8th
Magna Carta Photography Group Exhibition Returns with Fresh Focus and Local Flair
Capturing Moments for a Cause
The Magna Carta Photography Group exhibition is back and promises to be even better than last year’s popular event. Set for Monday, 8th September, the exhibition runs from 12pm to 5pm at Cooper’s Hill House, Magna Carta Park in Englefield Green (TW20 0JY).
Last year, the exhibition raised nearly £1,000 for charity. This year, the group hopes to match or exceed that success with a rich display of powerful imagery and artistic vision.
What to Expect at the Magna Carta Photo Exhibition
The Magna Carta Photography Group will showcase images across various themes including architecture, water, skies, people, and birds. Whether shot on an iPhone or a professional camera, each photograph tells a story—some capturing fleeting moments, others reflecting hours of care, setup, and editing.
Two key members of the group—Chris Towler and David Hacker—are both award-winning amateur photographers. Chris’s work focuses on the natural beauty of Magna Carta Park, while David brings back compelling photographs from international travels and unfamiliar cultures.
Why the Magna Carta Photo Exhibition Supports Local Charities
The exhibition offers more than just visual art. It invites visitors to explore Cooper’s Hill House and the surrounding Magna Carta Park, with scenic views across to Windsor Castle.
Entry remains just £5, which includes a welcome drink. Guests will also have the chance to purchase photographs and other artistic items. All proceeds go to two worthy causes: Woking and Sam Beare Hospice and the mental health charity Mind.
