The new locally owned café serves organic Fairtrade coffee, freshly prepared food and breakfast as Kingsgrove continues to grow.
Coffee-lovers in Wantage have a new pit-stop with the opening of Esquires Coffee at Kingsgrove, bringing coffee, breakfast and freshly prepared food to the growing neighbourhood.
The café welcomed its first customers earlier this autumn, with a menu featuring coffees, hot and cold drinks, pastries and freshly prepared dishes, including a traditional English breakfast.

Vegetarian and vegan options are available, alongside dairy alternatives and, where possible, locally sourced ingredients. All Esquires coffee is organic and Fairtrade certified.
The café is a locally owned franchise of the national Esquires Coffee chain, run by two local owners. It is open from 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and from 8am to 4pm on Sundays.
“We’re excited to be part of the community,” says co-owner Simmi Arneja. “Our aim is to create a warm, welcoming place where people can enjoy great coffee and food, meet friends, have breakfast or simply stop by.”

Cllr Andrew Crawford, Cabinet Member for Property, Housing and Economic Development at Vale of White Horse District Council, welcomed the addition, saying it gives the community more reasons to meet, spend time and shop locally.
Esquires Coffee adds another amenity to Kingsgrove’s growing neighbourhood, joining the Co-op and Little Pioneers Nursery and Pre-school.
The wider development continues to take shape, with new homes, Wantage Primary Academy, green spaces, walking and cycling routes, play areas and sports facilities, with further amenities to follow.
