The Roseate Reading is marking 20 years at its iconic Forbury location by offering 40% off food at The Reading Room until the end of August 2026, giving diners the chance to experience one of the town’s finest restaurants for less.
The Roseate Reading is celebrating 20 years of hospitality at 26 The Forbury by launching its biggest dining offer to date, giving guests 40% off food at its acclaimed restaurant, The Reading Room.
Available until Sunday 31 August 2026, the anniversary promotion has been created to thank the local community while encouraging both new and returning diners to experience one of Reading’s best-known fine dining destinations.
According to the hotel, the offer is a one-off celebration inspired by its milestone anniversary and is unlikely to be repeated outside another landmark occasion.

The discount applies across the food menu, including The Reading Room’s seven-course seasonal tasting menu, which is available in traditional, vegetarian and vegan options.
Dishes currently include chestnut mushroom velouté with truffle foam and artichoke crisp, alongside Dorset spring lamb served with pressed potato, grilled cauliflower and tomato and fenugreek sauce.

Usually priced at £89 per person, the tasting menu is available for £53 throughout the anniversary celebrations.
The offer also coincides with the recent expansion of The Reading Room’s outdoor terrace, providing additional space for al fresco lunches, summer evening dining and drinks overlooking Forbury Gardens.
The Reading Room is open seven days a week, with its à la carte menu served from 6pm to 9.30pm and the tasting menu available from 6pm to 9pm.
