Dreary weather getting to you but stuck here? Consider this your culinary passport: global flavours at Vaasu & Riwaz this autumn & winter

If you’ve been craving something beyond the ordinary, Vaasu in Marlow and Riwaz in Beaconsfield are rolling out an exciting calendar of Taste Of… events that bring the world to your plate.

Think of it as a mini gastronomic tour without leaving home.

At Vaasu, Marlow, the first stop is Taste of Tokyo on Wednesday, 29th October, celebrating the delicate, artful flavours of Japan. Next, mark your diaries for Chef Atul Kochhar’s Taste of Bihar on Thursday, 30th October, where he brings the spices and soul of his home state in a very special menu. If Sri Lankan cuisine is calling, don’t miss the Colombo 7 Takeover on Sunday, 30th November; an exclusive, one-night-only experience. Colombo 7 Cinnamon Gardens in Amersham is a beloved independent restaurant known for its modern take on traditional Sri Lankan cuisine, blending bold spices and vibrant flavours in beautifully presented dishes. The team brings a refined yet authentic touch to every plate, earning acclaim for their innovative and heartfelt approach.

Then on Wednesday, 19th November, indulge in Taste of Thai, and cap off the year on Thursday, 4th December, with Taste of Bengal, a showcase of authentic Bengali dishes crafted with heart and heritage.

Over in Riwaz, Beaconsfield, on Thursday, 20th November, explore the bold pairings of an Argentinian Wine Dinner—wines from across the southern hemisphere matched with dishes by Atul and the team.

Throughout December, both Vaasu and Riwaz will serve their festive menus, putting a unique spin on seasonal classics. Yes, that means Christmas Day dinner is on the cards (but with a twist) and a stylish New Year’s Eve celebration to welcome 2026 in culinary fashion.

Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or just love a good evening out, this is your chance to taste, learn, and travel through flavours in Marlow and Beaconsfield. Each event promises to surprise, delight, and leave your taste buds singing.

Ready to explore? Keep an eye on the event links, grab your bookings early, and bring your appetite. The world is served.
