Mucky Weekender Returns to Micheldever – Bigger, Bolder, Bassier

Mucky Weekender is back at Micheldever and 2025 promises to be its biggest yet! This boutique festival headlined by Fabio + Grooverider kicks off with a Thursday night party you won’t want to miss.

From Humble Roots to Festival Fame

What started in 2019 as a homegrown dream by Barry Ashworth, frontman of Dub Pistols, has become one of the UK’s most beloved boutique festivals. Set on the lush 28-acre Vicarage Farm, the festival maintains a 5,000-capacity and grassroots energy—no sponsors, no suits.

Opening Party: Thursday Night Throwdown

Opening night doubles as a full festival launch. Reggae legend David Rodigan ignites the crowd with dubplates and mic magic. Phil Hartnoll (Orbital) brings euphoric electronic beats, while DJ Yoda surprises with genre-hopping wizardry. The line-up also includes dub maestro Gardna, soul sensation Eva Lazarus, punk-reggae icon Don Letts, Jaguar Skills, and funk group The Allergies.

Community, Creativity & Festival Family

Mucky Weekender isn’t just about music—it’s about building community. Whether you come solo or with friends, this is more than a festival—it’s a boutique rave-family reunion. Expect to dance, laugh, and make lifelong connections.

Dress-Up Fun with a Legendary Twist

This year’s fancy-dress theme is Dead Famous. Channel icons like Bowie, Prince, or even Shakespeare-disco styles. Festival-goers in costume may win a Golden Ticket to the exclusive Dead Famous After Party with Barry Ashworth and Dub Pistols.

A Festival with Heart & Mindfulness

Mucky Weekender supports positive mental health through its partnership with Tonic Music for Mental Health. Enjoy wellbeing spaces, familiar returning acts, and a thoughtfully curated lineup—all wrapped in a caring festival culture and killer soundtrack.

So if you’re after an unforgettable weekend of genre-spanning beats, creative freedom, and good vibes only, book your tickets now here!
