Don’t miss independent Fleet business Fox & Furb on TV as they star in BBC One’s brand-new series I Made It at Market. Hosted by Dominic Chinea, the show explores how makers have built money-making businesses after leaving his business bootcamp – and what they are earning now.
Hampshire is back on our television screens, with local Fleet business Fox & Furb starring in BBC One’s new show I Made It at Market this April 2026.
Founded by Hayley and Martin Poulter, Fox & Furb create bold, design-led furniture that combines traditional upholstery with modern materials, including hand-forged steel frames made locally at Dogmersfield Forge.
Hayley first appeared on Make It at Market in November 2023, where the couple’s bold, design-led approach to reupholstery and furniture design gained national attention.
Celebrating their success, the pair will feature in the BBC’s follow-up series, I Made It at Market, which revisits makers who have gone on to build successful businesses after appearing on the original programme.
Flabbergast Productions recently came to the area, with The Repair Shop’s Dominic Chinea visiting the couple’s workshop to see what they’ve been working on – getting hands-on and even trying out cutting upholstery fabric.
Filming also took place at Dogmersfield Forge, where the couple collaborate with a local blacksmith who creates their signature hand-forged steel frames.
Martin and Hayley say: “Believe it or not, we love working together as a husband-and-wife team—we bounce ideas around, challenge each other, and usually land somewhere better than we expected.”
The series will be available on BBC iPlayer from Tuesday 7 April 2026, with Fox & Furb’s episode airing on BBC One on Monday 13 April at 3.45pm.
