The Toby Cottage is a cosy and homely restaurant set in a beautiful 18^th century cottage situated in the High Street of the picturesque village of Ripley. It has been serving delicious food since 1957, when it was first licenced, making it one of the longest established restaurants in Surrey

Tony Frias and Toni Trillo, formerly of the Cloche Hat Restaurant in Chobham, have been at he front of The Toby Cottage for the last 20 years and are looking to carry on welcoming loyal customers and new ones for the next few years

We provide traditional style menu, offering you fresh produce cooked to order, you can find such things as Beef wellington, Tournedos Rossini and fresh tuna, as well as Dover Soles and Fresh sea bass from our daily specials, served by knowledgeable and friendly service who will go out of their way to make your visit memorable

Our Sweet menu is filled with delicious homemade desserts, things like tiramisu, cheese cake,  banoffi pie, cream caramel, daily prepared by our chefs

We offer an excellent A ’La Carte menu based on the finest produce available

From Tuesday to Saturday lunch we have our Autumn Menu offering at the set price of £24.50 for 2 courses at lunchtime and £27.50 for 3 courses in the evening

We also offer a dedicated Sunday lunch menu at £29.50 for 3 courses, the menu will have a choice of 2 roasts

We have a very extensive wine list with some lovely wines from all over the globe, but have a very interesting selection of Riojas and wines from Spain, some dating back to 1964!

The restaurant is available for private hire for parties up to 60 people and we will tailor made a menu to suit your needs

We have parking on site, but we also have access to some extra parking on The Village Hall carpark right behind the restaurant

We have a private room that accommodates up to 12 people upstairs, ideal for small family gatherings or for a friends night out
