The amount given to children by the Tooth Fairy varies between houeholds. Some get £10 while other don’t receive anything for losing a tooth!
The average payment has gone up 60p in the last five years and now stands at £2.10. It’s becoming more common for children to receive £5 or £10 notes and the majority of the money is spent on sweets.
