The intimate 228-seater venue of the Rhoda McGaw Theatre in the heart of Woking welcomes an exciting new programme of one-night-only events hosted by the charismatic Christopher Biggins

The much-loved stage and screen star is starting an exclusive new series of shows, titled In Conversation With…, with Oscar and Golden Globe-winning actress Hayley Mills as his first special guest.

The opening event takes place on Saturday, 6th September, 7.30pm, offering audiences a rare chance to hear first-hand stories, insights, and laughter from two legends of British entertainment in a relaxed and personal setting.

Joins Biggins to hear Hayley reflect on her extraordinary career spanning film, theatre, and television. She is one of Britain’s most cherished actresses, whose career began in childhood. She rose to international fame as a Disney star, with iconic roles in Pollyanna, The Parent Trap and That Darn Cat!, earning a rare Academy Juvenile Award at just 14. Born into a legendary acting family, she is the daughter of Sir John Mills and Mary Hayley Bell, and sister to Juliet Mills. Her work beyond Disney includes acclaimed films like Whistle Down the Wind and The Chalk Garden, as well as celebrated stage and television performances. Her bestselling memoir Forever Young offers a moving and candid reflection on a life lived in the spotlight.

Hayley says: “I’m so looking forward to my conversation with Christopher Biggins. He’s a true life-enhancer – clever, charming, and absolutely hilarious! We’ll be covering a lot of ground and most importantly having a lot of fun! I can’t wait to share it with the audience.”

Biggins, renowned for his flamboyant personality and glittering career across theatre, film and television, is thrilled to be launching the series in Woking where he recently appeared as The Spirit of Dreams in the New Victoria Theatre’s 2024 pantomime, Sleeping Beauty.

The undisputed king of pantomime, Biggins has delighted audiences nationwide with his comic brilliance. He won hearts as King of the Jungle on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2007, and remains a cherished presence on talk shows, reality TV, and live events. From Shakespeare to showbiz, his enduring appeal lies in his humour, storytelling and genuine love of performance.

He is “looking forward enormously to coming back to Woking with my dear friend, the Academy Award-winning Hayley Mills, and talking about her phenomenal career!”

In Conversation With… aims to bring some of the biggest names in entertainment to the Rhoda McGaw Theatre, offering a unique opportunity for Woking audiences to hear their stories in an up-close and personal format.

On October 25th, Biggins will be In Conversation With… Dame Maureen Lipman
