Show your support for the countryside, the people and animals who live and work in it, at Hampshire Countryside Day on Sunday, 14th September

Celebrate rural life at Hampshire Countryside Day at Bereleigh Estate near Petersfield. 

The event is an unforgettable celebration of rural life and country sports, where visitors can see expert demonstrations of rural sports and skills, and enjoy hands-on experiences, countryside shopping, live entertainment, and sample outstanding local food and drink. 

The main arena includes demonstrations and competitions including Gamegoer Gun Dogs routines and gundog scurry contests, inter hunt scurry relay heats and final, Hawking About Falconry demonstrations, terrier racing and a hound parade by local hunts. 

You’ll be able to have a go at clay pigeon shooting, archery, air gun taster ranges and fishing tips and casting demos. Bring your dog and enter a range of furry friend competitions including family fun dog show with best trick, waggiest tail and best child handler, gun dog scurry open to all and a lurcher and terrier show with races. 

Over 100 trade stands offer crafts, clothing, sporting goods, countryside equipment and more. Food and drink includes hog roast, Cornish pasties, donuts and ice cream. There will also be a licensed bar.  

Sponsored by Shorts waste management, show proceeds will go to the Countryside Alliance campaign efforts and the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
