Celebrate Frimley Health Charity’s 30th anniversary and join the sponsored walk on September 21st

Frimley Health Charity is calling on the local community to lace up their walking boots and join their annual Walk 4 Wards on Sunday, 21st September at Stokes Farm Barn.

The popular community fundraising initiative brings together families, friends and their furry companions to raise essential funds for ward improvements and patient care enhancements across Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust hospitals.

Take on the five-mile trail walk, and new for this year, participants also have the option to run the trail course through the stunning countryside with abundant wildlife, before being greeted with delicious refreshments upon their return. The event creates an inclusive atmosphere where the focus is on participation rather than competition, embodying the collaborative spirit that defines the best of community fundraising.

“Walk 4 Wards has become a cherished tradition in our events calendar. It’s incredibly moving to see entire families come together, from grandparents to young children, all united and full of community spirit in their desire to make a difference for patients in our hospitals,” said Megan Parry, Events Manager of Frimley Health Charity.

Every step directly contributes to improving the patient experience and supporting NHS staff who provide essential care around the clock.
