Eggar’s is a friendly, vibrant state-funded secondary school in the heart of Hampshire set in a magnificent 38-acre site. Our 750 students thrive in calm, purposeful classrooms where they are engaged in exciting learning. Our greatest resource is our specialist teachers who are “experts in their subjects and enthuse pupils to want to learn more” (Ofsted 2024).

Our reputation is well established for academic excellence, sporting prowess and exceptional creativity in the visual and performing arts. Our GCSE Attainment and Progress remained very strong across the board in 2026, with particularly impressive results in English, Music, Science, French, Drama and Art.
