The Rotary Club of Princes Risborough is inviting the community to dedicate a light in memory of loved ones at its annual Tree of Light ceremony on 22 November, raising funds for Florence Nightingale Hospice and other Rotary charities.

Princes Risborough’s Tree of Light offers a special way to remember and celebrate loved ones this Christmas, with the annual dedication ceremony taking place on Sunday, 22 November 2026.

A little light can mean a lot at Christmas, and the Rotary Club of Princes Risborough is once again inviting the community to dedicate a light on its Tree of Light in memory of someone special.

The annual event raises funds for Florence Nightingale Hospice and other Rotary charities, while providing a meaningful opportunity to honour, remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones.

The Tree of Light will be situated in the gardens at the corner of New Road and Duke Street in Princes Risborough. The names of those being remembered will be displayed on boards near the tree.

A dedication ceremony will take place at 4pm on Sunday, 22 November, when the lights will be illuminated. It will offer an opportunity to pause, reflect and share memories with others in a peaceful setting as the festive season gets under way.

Everyone is welcome to attend the ceremony, and there is no need to book.

Those wishing to dedicate a light can do so online using the QR code provided by the Rotary Club or collect a dedication form from Princes Risborough Library.
