Attention fellow Neighbours fans! Toadie is leaving the beloved soap (sob), but we’ve teamed up with the team at Goldups Lane to offer a pair of tickets to Ryan Moloney’s Toad on the Road show at Basingstoke on 13th September

The Australian outback is a dangerous place… And if you’re an avid Neighbours fan, you’ll have been glued to the screen watching the action unfold over #OutbackWeek to find out how our favourite Ramsay Street Rebecchi might meet his maker…

No spoilers here, folks (I’m too invested) but suffice to say that Toadie has already survived a breakdown, crocodile attack and bodged kidnapping ordeal (orchestrated by epic baddie Heath)…

However, back in the real world, and in Blighty, the actor who plays him, Ryan Moloney is on tour with his Toad On The Road show, which visits Anvil Arts in Basingstoke on Friday, 13th September.

Ryan, who is leaving the show after 30 years, says: “I would just like to take the opportunity to say thank you for all the love that you have shown me and Toadie over the years. Three decades, in fact. I’ll miss you, I’ll miss him, and I’ll miss Erinsborough. I can tell you we will be talking about it in my show Toad on the Road, so please make sure you get your tickets fast!”

Fresh from sharing the stage with five of his peers in the sell-out 2023 Neighbours: The Celebration Tour, Neighbours star, Ryan is touring 20 cities and towns including Blackpool and Glasgow.

Having joined the show in 1995 as Toadie, Ryan has seen his character grow from an unruly teenager to the local respected lawyer, clocking up multiple wives along the way! Toadie’s latest marriage to Terese Willis will be discussed, alongside his biggest hits from across the years. From wrestling, the house of trouser, nude runs, the original teen gang and now his departure from Ramsey Street, all of Toadie’s stories are primed for discussion – with Ryan letting audiences in on some behind the scenes secrets they will never have heard before.

With surprises on the night and an extended Q&A section, this is the ultimate night for every Neighbours fan that has spent the last nearly 30 years watching the character develop on screen. Meet and greet tickets will be available at all venues on the tour.

To enter our prize draw, fill in the form below before 12pm on Tuesday, 3rd September.

Our lucky winner & their guest (and maybe their dog!) can enjoy a two-night stay midweek for two at The Five Alls in Filkins near Lechlade

Autumns beckons… time to seek out your favourite pub & tuck in! And, thanks to local hospitality heroes, we might just have found your new favourite.

This 18th century inn is the perfect sanctuary, retaining all the original charm a beloved snuggly local pub should. Think exposed rendered Cotswold stone, flagstones and fireplaces flickering and aflame as nights draw in. The pub’s been under new ownership this year, and is in great hands with Tow Downing, Rob Willks and team who understand all the ingredients of a perfect pub, including banging food at great prices! Head chef Lucian Juganaru is like a conductor, helping the best, freshest seasonal produce sing with his changing menus.

It helps, of course, that the Five Alls occupies a very special spot, close to treasures such as Bibury (watch this space for a trout-inspired tasting menu). It even has its own orchard. Tom says: “The end of summer is the best time to celebrate English fruits with trees full of ripe apples, pears, plums and damsons as well as wonderful root veg. It’s also time to add hearty soups of pumpkins and squash, pickles, chutneys and sauces to menus along with dishes celebrating local game.” Bar snacks include mac & cheese bites, crispy olives, popcorn chicken and homemade focaccia. There’s a children’s menu, vegan & veggie options galore and the popular burger and fish & chip nights. The delicious, hearty cooked breakfast alone is worth booking a stay for.

Above the pub are four en-suite rooms with five more luxury, lavender-framed cottage-core bedrooms tucked behind. These all have a stunning, roomy en-suite, and super kingsize beds, wood-panelled and pretty with Pinterest-worthy hues & details such as Roberts radios. They are the perfect base for a rejuvenating stay, all the better for exploring nearby Kelmscott (home of William Morris, celebrated this month!). That way you indulge in more than one of the 40 excellent wines on offer, and locally produced craft ales and guest beers.

The whole Five Alls team deserve huge respect for the sympathetic renovation of this old inn, showcasing its original features, including the exposed oak beams and joists and Georgian sash windows. The jewel-toned colours were inspired by a gorgeous patterned fabric, Oak Mere Indigo by iLiv from Just Fabrics in Burford and the effect is warm, welcoming and chic.

Visit Five Alls Filkins to book and find out more. And here’s the team’s guide to things to do nearby!

To enter our prize draw, fill in the form below before 12pm on Friday, 27th September.
