Beccy Hunt, who lives near Witney, created Chez Beccy to bring joy and the beauty of nature into your home. “The kitchen is the heart of the home, my happy place,” she says.
“A sanctuary from the chaos and stress of everyday life and most importantly a place of nurture, love and kindness. My aim is to create beautiful homeware to bring you joy.
It was always my dream to be a designer. I wasn’t encouraged to do art at school, even though my dad was a graphic designer. When I left school I felt lost and had no idea what to do with my life. I fell in love with travelling because I was truly able to be myself. It gave me a sense of freedom. In that special time, I met amazing people and saw amazing things that still inspire the designs I create today. I was so proud of myself when I got my first design job. I remember filling out a form and writing my occupation down as designer. I felt wonderful! It had taken me a long time to get to this point. I was 33 years old!”
10% of Chez Beccy’s profits are donated to mental health and wellbeing charities.
We’ve teamed up to offer one lucky winner a blue shooting heart juco shoulder bag with leather handles, worth £53. Beccy’s design is lovingly handpainted on to the bag individually in house then fixed with heat, making it waterproof.
