Win! A framed print from Windsor photography star Nicola Bell.
Nicola Bell has turned a negative into a positive with her photography. Her passion for photography has delighted us all, via these pages & the Facebook group Eye Spy Windsor & Eton which led to her launching her photography business during the first lockdown.
Windsor & Eton Photo Art began online, building up a good local reputation, and then Nicola launched her range of framed local prints through a series of open house displays in Windsor. After lots of local art fairs and outdoor markets, in April she joined up with Windsor’s new Craft Coop.
In July Nicola set up a pop-up shop within Daniel Department Store. “It was great working with Daniel, who have been at the heart of the Windsor retail experience for so many decades,” says Nicola. “They really go the extra mile in terms of customer service. My time in Daniel gave me a great opportunity to talk to local people face to face – a breath of fresh air after lockdown!”
Nicola’s photography is also available to buy via the Eton Information Centre, and she has also now set up, and manages, the new Visit Eton Instagram site. “Eton has so much to offer,” adds Nicola, “and we wanted to really promote Eton and all its small, independent businesses. I feel very proud that my photography caught the eye of the right people, and I was invited to promote the town, with my images.”
Nicola wanted to spread the local love by offering one lucky Round & About reader the chance to win a framed print of their choice, worth £40, if you can name all nine locations pictured above.
Follow Windsor & Eton Photo Art on Facebook and Instagram and send your answers by private message to either page, by Thursday, 30th September, and add your contact details. All correct answers will be entered into a draw, with the winner announced via Windsor & Eton Photo Art social media, on Saturday, 2nd October.
Nicola is back in Daniel of Windsor with another pop-up shop from 1st November, with photography, including a special Christmas range of cards, local calendars and gifts to peruse. Meanwhile, visit Eton Information Centre, Instagram or email [email protected] for more details.
